Close-knit sports team “Elinar” took part in the traditional summer tourist rally, which has been 35 years old this year! Sotnikovo village became a place of attraction of people with strong body and spirit for the time of the sports festival. More than 700 people from 19 teams representing Naro-Fominsk urban district took part in the rally.
Elinar people demonstrated their skill, speed, agility, knowledge and sense of humor in the following three programs of the competition- tourists, athletic and competitive. The rally program as usual was quite eventful: contests of captains and cooks, demonstration of tourist skills, knowledge of everyday life, football, volleyball, water tourism technique, various creative competitions and many other things. At the cooks contest Elinar team impressed all the judges and participants by a delicious salad that was made in the form of map of Russia with more than 1 meter in its size, and what’s the most important, it was extremely tasty!
Despite the fact that fortune followed Elinar team not in all competitions, it successfully coped with one of its main tasks which is to show by own example that sport and tourism improves health, unites the team and a positive charge extends life.
