The XXII regional exhibition of pedigree animals “Stars of the Moscow region-2018” took place in the national horse club “Rus’” (located in the Moscow region, Leninsky district, Orlovo village). On this show, there were pedigree animals from 35 best breeding farms of Moscow and the Moscow region. This year the competition was judged by an international world- class referee Jorg Stubbermann who many times participated as a lead referee in regional and national shows of Germany, Denmark, Poland and other European countries. The referees estimated the animals based on the cows’ constitution and productivity.
This time the breeding farm of Elinar presented two cows, which took the 3rd and 6th places in their categories. Milk yield of the prizewinners for 305 days amounted 9456 kg and 8325 kg correspondingly.
This show is targeted to promote selection achievements of the best breeding farms in dairy cattle breeding, poultry farming of the Moscow region, as well as attracting the attention of the wide audience, managers and specialists of agriculture to pedigree work in the livestock farming, exchange of experience in the arrangement and realization of breeding work. Active and massive participation in the exhibition of the organizations serving cattle farming and presented samples of the products allowed participants to get acquainted with the latest technical means and technologies for livestock farms, processing of cattle farming products.
