Within the frames of implementation of the programme of the equipment shift from Lot (Belgium) to Ateptsevo the mica cleaning unit was relocated. New mica cleaning unit was successfully installed in the facility of the former boiler-room, which was capitally repaired specially for this purpose. The unit itself carried some constructional modifications in its operation, there was developed and produced section for the final washing –out of mica.
The proper preparation of the raw materials for the machines operation ensures production of the high- quality mica paper used as a basis of practically all products of the site. New installation will allow to process even very contaminated mica. It separates clean mica from the impurities and pollutants in order to improve raw material quality and to increase production volumes and to extend the service life period of the equipment.
